Grey Partridge

At 17. 45hrs today 500 yards prior to entering the village of Bettws Cedewain from the direction of Newtown, saw a pair of grey partridge caught in the cars headlights picking up grit at the side of the road. Made my shopping trip more pleasurable.

  4. I do see a few occasionally but like so many other birds which have just about disappeared from this area, they have suffered from loss of habitat.
